This page explains how to delete your Jotdo List (山居手记) account and what data deletion covers. Effective date: 20 September 2026.

1. Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Jotdo List and go to Settings → Account;
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the page;
- Confirm twice as prompted. The account and its cloud data are deleted right away and the app signs out.
You can use to-dos, lists, and reminders without signing in. That data stays on this device only and has no cloud account to delete; uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it.
2. Request deletion if you cannot sign in
If you can no longer sign in, email jotdolist@gmail.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete account”, and tell us the account email (for accounts without an email, tell us which Apple / Google / WeChat sign-in was used). We complete the deletion and confirm by email within 7 business days of receiving the request.
3. What gets deleted
- Account details: sign-in email, display name, avatar, and profile data;
- Synced content: to-dos, lists and categories, templates, Tiny AI Supervisor tasks and reports;
- Membership and transaction records: subscription status and purchase token digests, points balance and ledger, referral records;
- Sign-in links: Apple / Google / WeChat connection records.
Deletion cannot be undone: cloud content is removed, and registering the same email again creates a brand-new empty account. Past points and referral rewards are not restored or re-granted.
4. What account deletion does not cover
- Store subscriptions: auto-renewal is managed by Apple and Google, so deleting the account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on iPhone or iPad, or in the Google Play subscriptions page. Charged amounts follow the store’s rules.
- On-device data: local to-dos and settings are not account data and are not removed by deleting the account. Delete them in the app, or uninstall to remove them.
- Legally required records: transaction and invoice records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes are retained until the statutory period ends, then deleted.
